Introducing the DongleMaster: Seamlessly Switch Between Arcade Controls & Gamepads
When you need gamepad precision for console emulation, DongleMaster is the perfect addition to your Pacto Tech Control Interface.

Smooth Transitions:
Arcade to Gamepad: Quickly remove emulated Xbox controllers from the Pacto Tech interface, power up the wireless adapter, and allow gamepads to take over the first player positions.
Gamepad to Arcade: Switch to any mode other than disconnect mode to power down the dongle and activate arcade controls. After a brief delay, gamepads can return to assume the later positions (such as 3 & 4 on a 2 player cabinet, or 5+ on a 4 player cabinet).
Flexible Player Options: On 2-player arcade cabinets, you can add players 3 and 4 with gamepads.
While we have only officially tested and support Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adapters, The DongleMaster is compatible with most USB 2.0 devices. (it is just switching the power, and passes through data). If you plan to use a hub with 4 wired controllers, we would recommend using a powered hub to avoid instability from voltage drop.
Note on Compatibility with more than 4 Xinput Controls:
Limited Support: Windows compatibility to add more than 4 players with Xinput controls is restricted to specific emulators like Yuzu and a limited number of Windows games.
Workaround: For most emulators like MAME, you can map the first 4 players in keyboard mode, then use gamepads for players 5/6. We would only suggest doing this for specific 6 player games.
Wiring: The DongleMaster connects to the spare I2C pins. If desired, a SpecVision display can be connected at the same time by placing the DongleMaster between the SpecVision and Pacto control board. a 10cm cable is used between the control board and DongleMaster, while a 40cm cable extends to the SpecVision
