Trackball Interface for Arcade Cabinets

The ATLAS0 is intended to interface an arcade machine trackball with your Windows or Linux computer.

Trackball Functions

• Each ATLAS0 will support 1 trackball OR 2 spinners
  • Use 1 ATLAS0 for 1 trackball
  • Use 1 ATLAS0 for 2 spinners
  • Use 2 ATLAS0 for 2 trackballs
  • Use 2 ATLAS0 for 1 trackball and 2 spinners
  • Use 4 ATLAS0 for 4 trackballs
    
• Reads high resolution trackballs accurately, even on high speed spins (great for golf games)
• Clearly labelled for wiring (color chart on back of board) and tested for compatibility with the following trackballs:
  • HAPP 3" WHITE HIGH LIP TRACKBALL ASSEMBLY (56-0100-11HL)
  • Ultimarc U-Trak
  • Other "Active Low" trackballs
• Inputs for Left Click, Middle Click, and Right Click
• 4 ProductID (PID) Options adjustable through switches on board
  • Allows up to 4 simultaneous ATLAS0 boards to be used with MAME in "multimouse" mode for trackball or spinner games.
  • Maintain PID no matter which USB port is used, making setup in MAME more consistent

ATLAS1 Compatibility

• ATLAS0 boards can be used in conjunction with a ATLAS1 board, as they have unique USB ProductID (PID). MAME will see them as unique devices. The ATLAS1 has additional inputs for keyboard keys such as ESC. If you want Keyboard features, pair a single ATLAS1 with however many additional ATLAS0 boards you need.
